Air Fryer Pasta Bolognese Sauce Recipe

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Spray a pie pan with olive oil spray and set aside.
  • Cook the noodle according to directions. Drain. While hot, add the cubed laughing cow cheese, the cottage cheese, the parmesan cheese and ¼ cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir well and set aside.
  • While the noodles are cooking, begin on the sauce. Add the beef and onion to a small skillet and cook until browned. Add the seasonings and stir for one minute. Stir in the tomato sauce and the crushed tomatoes. Bring to a simmer and lower heat to low for about 10 minutes.
  • Stir two cups of the sauce into the prepared noodles. Set aside the remaining sauce.
  • Press the pasta mixture into the prepared pie dish and flatten with a spatula.
  • Spread some of the remaining sauce atop the pasta in the dish. Top with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Pre-heat the air fryer to 350 degrees. Once heated, cook for 16 minutes.
  • Allow to sit 5-10 minutes before attempting to slice.
  • Serve warm with any remaining sauce on the side, if desired.

NOTES:

This is a level 1 recipe (may help support fat loss). Bolognese sauce is a filling pasta sauce packed with protein and veggies. You can use it to easily create high calorie or low-calorie meals.

If you have a weight loss goal, I recommend using this sauce on top of spiralized veggie noodles.
