Ingredients:
- 5 large eggs, separated;
- 160g (1 ¼ cup) all-purpose flour;
- 160g (¾ cup) sugar;
- 120g (⅔ cup) chocolate chips;
- 500g (2 cups) hazelnut paste.
Instructions:
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale. Add flour and whisk to combine.
- Gently fold in whipped egg whites into the batter, then add chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter onto a parchment-covered baking sheet and bake at 180°C/350°F for 10-15 minutes.
- Spread hazelnut paste on top of the hot cake and roll carefully. Let cool down completely before slicing.
