Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 220°C/fan 200°C/gas 7.
- Cook the potatoes in a saucepan of boiling water over a high heat for 6-8 minutes or until they’re just starting to soften. Drain well, give them a shake in the colander to rough up the edges, then tip into a non-stick baking tray or roasting tin.
- Spray the potatoes with low-calorie cooking spray, sprinkle with sea salt and toss well.
- Roast at the top of the oven for 30-35 minutes or until crisp and golden on the outside and tender inside, turning halfway.
- Serve hot.
Prepare for Air Frying:
- Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
- Transfer the parboiled potatoes to a bowl.
- Spray the potatoes generously with low-calorie cooking spray, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle with sea salt and toss well to distribute the oil and salt.
Air Fry the Potatoes:
- Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding, as this will prevent them from crisping up properly. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 20-25 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the potatoes halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
- If you find that your airfryer cooks unevenly, you may have to turn the potatoes more than once.
- Test for doneness by piercing a potato with a fork. It should be tender.
Serve:
Once the potatoes are cooked to your liking, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately.
