Cut the mushroom tops and ends off save them for another recipe you don’t need them for this recipe Cut into ½ inch thick coins In a frying pan on medium/high heat,
add butter or oil,
add garlic,
add nori sheets, then
add mushrooms.
Cook for about 5 minutes. You can add ¼ cup of white wine if you want or more butter or oil if needed.
Remove from pan and add to Air Fryer tray Air Fryer at 390F for about 5-8 minutes, depending on how dry/crispy you want them. I’m not a fan of mushrooms to begin with, so I wanted them a bit more crispy, so I cooked them for 8 minutes.
Add a tablespoon of unsweetened, unflavoured plant milk to the frying pan with the vegan butter and nori sheets, and you can pour that mixture over the mushrooms after they’re done in the air fryer.
Serve alone as an appetizer, or on top of spinach & pasta dish. So delicious!
