Air Fryer Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 320 degree F, air fryer setting.
  2. Spray a round pan that will fit into your air fryer. Press as many cinnamon rolls as needed into the bottom of the pan to form the crust (3-4 cinnamon rolls).
  3. Brush the crust with the melted butter.
  4. Add the sugar and cinnamon together and stir.
  5. Add the apple pie filling to the pan with the crust and sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar mixture
  6. Roll the remaining cinnamon rolls out between two pieces of parchment paper. Use the rolled out cinnamon rolls to cover the apple slices in the pan.
  7. Crimp edges to seal. Brush with butter.  Air fry for 20-25 minutes until golden brown at 320F.
  8. Drizzle with the icing enclosed (optional)
  9. Serve with ice cream and chopped nuts. Enjoy!

Pro Tips:

  • Make sure that the topping is very crumbly before adding.
    If you find that the top is browning too fast, add a piece of foil on top.
    Cool the cake completely before cutting.
    For extra fun, add the packet of icing from the cinnamon rolls on top.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce

How To Store

  • If you have any leftover, let it cool to room temperature, and then place it into an airtight container.
  • Place the leftovers into the refrigerator, where it will last about 2 to 3 days. After that, it will become soft and mushy
