Ingredients:
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half across the stems (larger ones into quarters)
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice, plus more for serving
- 2 tsp of paprika
- black pepper
- ½ cup (120ml) of chicken or vegetable stock
- cooking oil spray
Instructions:
- Heat air fryer to 400 degrees, if preheating is necessary.
- Place brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket; drizzle with cooking oil spray and the salt. Fry for 15 minutes, shaking basket or stirring the sprouts halfway through.
- Sprinkle sprouts with garlic. Continue to fry until the garlic is golden brown, another 2 to 4 minutes.
- Add the stock a little bit at a time, stirring until it reduces down, keep repeating this process until all the stock is gone. Season with salt and black pepper
- Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and Squeeze more lime juice on top, to taste.
- Note: Microwave the Brussels sprouts with a cup of water for a few minutes before air frying. this tip will make it perfectly tender and soft. Enjoy it.
